What happend to Kings Court Kennel?
Kings Court Kennel is now Kings Court Pet Resort. We have not moved, we are not closed, we are not Creekside nor are we affiliated with them in any way. This facility has been actively caring for pets since 1972.
We've owned the property and business on Duncan lane since 2005 but we did not run it, rather we leased it to someone who didn't meet our standards so we've taken back control. We've hired new management and completely renovated our facilities to give your pet a happier, healthier, more fun experience. Come see the amazing changes for yourself. If you've been here before you'll be wow'ed at the difference! Everything is new and clean, renovated and safe and even energy efficient. We've also joined Pet Care Services Association and take their code of ethics seriously so count on us to keep our word, always, and if we don't please contact us by clicking here.
What vaccinations does my pet need?
Your dog needs to be current on Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordatella.
How often does my pet go outside?
Guests are out of their assigned beds or runs as much as possible during the day and in the evening. Time outside depends upon the weather & time of year, in addition to your pets personality and the personality of others registered at the facility. Guests are out two to three times per day for potty breaks, in addition to exercise, playgroups, individual walks (upon request) and house time.
Do you have air conditioning/heating?
All areas of the facility are climate controlled with our guests comfort and safety in mind.
How can I be sure my pet is safe and cared for?
Our manager and staff love pets and we have personnel on the premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to make sure all our guests are watched over and cared for properly.
What do you feed?
We prefer you bring food for your pet. Some pets have food allergies or specific food preferences so guests bringing their own food, packaged in meal-sized sealable containers assures they won't have to change their regular diet. It's always better for your pet not to have his/her diet changed, if possible. If you are unable to bring food ask us as we have several brands of food we can provide.
Will my dog be with other dogs?
All guests are offered the opportunity to participate in a playgroup. A Playgroup is a group of dogs that are compatible in temperment and disposition, and are not necessarily chosen by size (although size is a factor). Playgroups are available in the morning, afternoon and evening. Playgroups let your dog be a dog and socialize with other guests in one of our large grassy yards. The length of time in a playgroup will vary, depending upon the weather, the time of year and the composition of guests registered on that day. All guests receive a minimum of two hours each day in a playgroup.
Do we need an appointment to come visit?
Yes, an appointment is necessary so as not to upset guest care and routine.
How early do I need to call to make reservations?
Please reserve Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and 4th of July as far in advance as possible to assure we have space. Holiday reservations require a non-refundable deposit of 25%. All other reservations are on a space available basis.
Cancellations
We require a 3 day notice for cancellations.
